The Palestine Festival of Literature is an annual, traveling, cultural roadshow. Because of the difficulties Palestinians face under military occupation in travelling around their own country - the Festival tours to its audiences.
PalFest aims to bring world class cultural events to Palestinian cities; to give Palestinian students access to some of the finest authors working today, and to create a forum for the exchange of ideas and stories between International and Palestinian writers, readers and students.
In 2010 the Festival toured to Jerusalem, Nablus, Jenin, Hebron, Bethlehem and Ramallah. PalFest was unable to enter Gaza.
There are several ways to connect with the festival: author blogs, facebook, twitter updates - check them out on our Connect page.
